This Wednesday I will have my third immunotherapy/chemotherapy treatment. I felt really tired the day after my last treatment and a little over a week after, my energy was up. I also noticed less side effects than after the first treatment. This could be my fresh juice and smoothies I’ve been consuming since returning home. By the way, why did the skilled nursing facility I was in serve so much pork? They even served hot dogs for lunch one day. Nothing about it seemed right for healing.
After about a week from last treatment I was even feeling well enough to go for a short, easy hike in Sedona but I twisted my ankle and just today it’s back to normal. Sometimes I think I have an inner self-sabotage mode.
I decided to go back to work part time. The medical bills not covered by insurance are starting to come in and i want to do my best to prevent an avalanche.
Working even a few hours is a little more tiring than I thought it would be. The job itself is easy and the tasks don’t tire me out. I think it’s just what my body is going through that makes me want to curl up under the desk for a nap. I also think being at work is good for my mental health.
