Returning to Life

**reposted from my GoFundMe page**

When I was diagnosed, it was scary and a mystery how things would unfold as I moved through treatment.

To my surprise the symptoms of chemotherapy didn’t hit me as hard as some people might experience and this allowed me to contemplate returning to one of my jobs that was much needed.

Having been denied medical unemployment and disability, I was lucky enough to get my office job back. I learned to write with my left hand and figured out how to do tasks. I am unable to return to my job as a massage therapist at this time as my wrist has not improved.

It’s been seven months since I started treatment. I continue to improve and the most recent scans show the tumors have shrunk.

I still have much healing to do and expect to keep getting better as my treatment moves forward.

I feel very blessed and grateful.
