I wanted to share an update and also say thank you from the deepest place in my heart.
The results from the latest MRI were very positive. The radiologist said all tumors have shrunk significantly. I also had another echocardiogram and the results of that are normal as well.
I’m still on the Chemo and Immunotherapy regimen and luckily the side effects are very minimal. One thing the doctor thought I would suffer was severe dry and cracked hands and feet, I was definitely not looking forward to that discomfort, but thankfully, that has not happened.
My breathing issue seems to be getting worse and finally, there might be a reason. My doctor looked at previous scans and thinks it could be from narrowing of my esophagus down closer to my stomach. That makes sense because after eating I feel like something is stuck. Oddly, the rest of my digestive tract has slightly improved. Fatigue continues to be one of my main issues.
Through all of this, what has meant the most is the kindness of the people around me. The donations, shares, messages, prayers, and encouragement have held me up in ways I can’t fully describe.
I still have my optimistic spirit, but emotionally, this year has been more challenging than last year. I just try to live in the moment and take things as they come.
Your support has truly made a difference. Not just financially, but emotionally and spiritually. I feel lifted, cared for, and not alone. That is a gift I will never forget.
